Preserving History One Game at a Time

Welcome to the vintage world of the Nintendo 8-Bit system. We will be working to cover Super Nintendo games in the near future, but getting through over 700 media rich reviews takes time. We would love to hear from anyone who wishes to help with any aspect of this project please contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . We have started in the ones and hope to see some m's within no more then two months. We plan on implementing a rating and points system in the very near future. We have many different items of video game history to give away as gifts to our dedicated fans and authors. Please help us scan our articles for truth, facts, and even a misspelling or two, and let us know so we can quickly correct our errors.

Fact, Fiction, Opinon

Many of our articles are written by real humans, and humans have opinons. This may, and hopefully will show thru in their articles they post. A soft note to our athours, keep in mind, your ideas are important, but they should never hide or distort the facts, in any way at all. Keep opinionated sections marked, or off to a diffrent area other then embedded into the facts of the article.

Where do We Go from here?
Our classic arcade games are quickly fading away, our consoles are not far behind. Many games are now downloaded and run on a computer or modern gaming console.  The Playstion 3, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii all have options to purchase games online via download. Many companies, and the underground rom scenes have ensured that the classic games have been digitally copied. This will help preserve the games, software, and digital content the progammers worked so hard to code. However this does nothing for the wonderful box art, cartridge covers, and well illustrated manuals. Our goal is to preserve games and all the original packaging. With help from our vistors we can prevent time from removing the many fond memories of the yesterday's videogames.

Getting the games online maybe easier, but nothing beats the feeling of holding the game itself, seeing the cover art,and blowing on the game to make sure it worked, not to mention all the memories tied to all of these classics. Its good to see a website dedicated to preserving a critical piece of gaming history.
